Chelsea has formalized their interest in both Brighton manager Graham Potter and former PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino.
Thomas Tuchel was fired as Chelsea manager after their Champions League loss to Dinamo Zagreb on Tuesday night.
The sacking may seem harsh after winning the Champions League during his Chelsea tenure, but after a disappointing start to the season, Todd Boehly decided to part ways with the German manager.
According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea has begun the process of determining whether both Potter and Pochettino would be willing to take over for Tuchel.
Pochettino is a free agent after leaving PSG this year, so bringing him to Stamford Bridge would be much easier than bringing in Potter.
Potter is under contract at Brighton, but the Daily Mail reports that he would be willing to leave for a club competing in the Champions League.
Zinedine Zidane is also said to be on Chelsea’s shortlist, but Potter and Pochettino currently lead the race.
