Declan Rice, from West Ham, may be transferred to Chelsea, and Chelsea is considering making an offer of two players.
Rice spent some time at Chelsea when he was a young man, and this summer, his old team is looking into the idea of bringing him back to Stamford Bridge. The England international is regarded as one of the top midfielders in the Premier League and has emerged as an important player for both club and nation.
According to 90min, Chelsea recently made a signing offer to West Ham for Rice, but it was quickly turned down. However, they are now preparing to make a new offer and include two players in the package.
Armando Broja and Ross Barkley are the two players in question. Since West Ham has shown interest in Broja this season and David Moyes may be looking for a striker with Michail Antonio nearing the end of his career,
Barkley, however, appears to be a last-ditch effort to close a deal. Since joining Chelsea, the former Everton player has battled to maintain any sort of consistency, therefore it’s tough to imagine West Ham being interested in the midfielder.
Since they obviously don’t want to part with their talisman, it appears that the Hammers are holding out for a sizable payment.
