Manchester United is still interested in a number of quality midfielders, including Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
The Red Devils have lost one Serbian in Nemanja Matic, who has joined AS Roma to reunite with former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho.
Now, another Serbian could arrive to improve the midfield at Man Utd and as per Libero (press image provided below), Milinkovic-Savic could be that man.
The renowned Italian news source has mentioned that the 27-year-old star can be sold by Lazio in the summer transfer window and Lotito is just waiting for the right offer.
It is stated that thus far, the club president has not received an offer that matches his request of 60 million euros (£50.3million). When it does arrive, the player will be sold.
For now, Man United is consistently pushing to hire the services of Frenkie de Jong but Milinkovic-Savic could be a cheaper yet much better alternative.
The Red Devils lack a creative player in their central midfield who can regularly score and create goals. Paul Pogba was supposed to perform that role but the Frenchman was highly inconsistent and mainly on the treatment table in the last two years.
Now that the midfielder has rejoined Juventus, Man Utd should adequately replace him and in all fairness, Milinkovic-Savic has the quality and the experience to strengthen things in the center for Ten Hag.
