Manchester City will go to King Power Stadium this Saturday to face Leicester City in an attempt to get back on track. The Sky Blues are coming off a scoreless draw against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League group stages, so they will be eager to bounce back and record a win in this Premier League fixture.
Pep Guardiola will revert to a 4-3-3 formation and may make a couple of changes to his starting lineup. Phil Foden is a lock to start on the left wing, while Erling Haaland could keep his starting spot if he passes a late fitness test before the away game.

Defense
Ederson Moraes will replace Stefan Ortega to operate in goal for the upcoming clash. The Brazilian shot-stopper will hope to put up a strong performance and secure a clean sheet on Saturday. Ruben Dias will form the center-half partnership with Aymeric Laporte at the heart of the City’s backline as Nathan Ake drops to the bench.
Sergio Gomez could replace an ill Joao Cancelo to start at the left-back position, whereas John Stones will fill in on the other flank as the right-back. The full-backs will be expected to stretch the opposition and keep their shape defensively.
Manuel Akanji and Ake would have to provide cover from the bench as they wait for an opportunity to feature in the latter half of the game.
Rodri is a guaranteed starter in the holding midfield position; he’ll be tasked with shielding the backline and distributing possession to his teammates efficiently.
Ilkay Gundogan will keep his place while Kevin De Bruyne returns to slot into the central midfield position. The duo would be determined to set up some clear-cut goal-scoring chances for the frontmen making forward runs into the opposition backline.
Attack
Phil Foden and Bernardo Silva will take up the wide positions, playing on the left and right wing respectively, trying to cut inside and create chances in front of the goal.
Erling Haaland could lead the charge for the Etihad club this weekend. The Norwegian international will continue on his excellent run of form trying to find the back of the net as he faces off against Leicester’s defense.
Julian Alvarez, Riyad Mahrez, and Jack Grealish will all take a spot on the bench as they wait for an opportunity to impress in the latter half.
