According to reports, AC Milan is one of three clubs interested in signing Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Noah Okafor.
According to Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg, Okafor is drawing interest from a variety of clubs, but three stand out above all: Manchester City, Liverpool, and Milan.
His current asking price is between €35m and €40m, but with a World Cup coming up in which the 22-year-old expects to be a star for Switzerland, his price could jump.
It comes after Calciomercato.com recently reported that a new reinforcement will be sought for the attack next summer as Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara want to give Stefano Pioli a No.9 to entrust for the future.
Okafor impressed against Milan in the Champions League, scoring in the first game to make it 1-0 before Alexis Saelemaekers’ opener, and the player himself called the Rossoneri a “great club” before the return game.
