According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United have been offered the chance to sign Alvaro Morata, Mauro Icardi, and Sasa Kalajdzic.
It comes after the Red Devils walked out of an agreement to sign Marko Arnautovic from Bologna, with Romano suggesting that they are still looking for a striker.
United has been connected with Morata, Icardi, and Kalajdzic in recent weeks as Erik ten Hag attempts to bolster his attacking options. The trio is valued at £45 million by CIES Football Observatory.
Earlier this month, The Athletic revealed that United had held talks over signing Morata, who has returned to Atletico Madrid after a loan spell with Juventus last season.
Since then, Get French Football News has claimed that the Manchester club has made an informal inquiry about Paris Saint-Germain’s Icardi.
Finally, a report from Sky Sports states that Kalajdzic is also of interest to United, with the 25-year-old entering the final year of his contract at Stuttgart.
Romano has told GIVEMESPORT that United has been offered Morata, Icardi, and Kalajdzic, who have scored 347 senior goals combined.
Speaking to GMS, the transfer expert said: “All of these players have been offered to Man United, and I think it’s normal for agents to work like this. They wanted Marko Arnautovic, then the deal collapsed, so now they are in the market for a striker – but at the moment, still nothing decided.”
Has United been linked with any other strikers?
Another No.9 linked with a move to Old Trafford is Barcelona’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
According to MailOnline, United has held conversations with Barcelona and Aubameyang regarding a summer deal. However, if the 33-year-old is to leave the Spotify Camp Nou before the end of the season, he would prefer a move to Chelsea, according to the same source.
As Thomas Tuchel tries to improve his own forward line, the Blues are also interested in Aubameyang.
