Manchester United is said to be considering a move for Leeds United star Tyler Adams. Adams was only signed by the Whites in the summer, for around £20million, but he is already impressing in the heart of their midfield, despite Jesse Marsch’s men struggling for form.
According to Football Insider, Adams is on United’s list of targets, but it does seem unlikely Leeds will consider selling any time soon. The Yorkshire club sold Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha over the summer, and while they did spend to improve in the summer, they are not financially in a position where they need to sell.
Ronaldo ruled out
Napoli will not be signing Cristiano Ronaldo in January despite links with the United forward.
Napoli chief Cristiano Giuntoli told DAZN: “Ronaldo in January? We won’t sign any players in January. We don’t need to change anything in this team. We’re doing great and we’re not planning any signing, as of today.”
Ronaldo has been heavily linked with a move away from United, with his agent Jorge Mendes reportedly looking for a new club for his star client ahead of the January transfer window.
