PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi says that the club is interested in signing Marcus Rashford.
Rashford, who has three goals for England thus far in the World Cup, is out of contract at Manchester United in the summer.
Rashford has experienced a wonderful World Cup with England but has an uncertain future with his club
It is unclear whether the 25-year-old, who has scored eight goals for the Red Devils this season, will sign a new contract.
“He’s another extremely outstanding player,” Al-Khelaifi told Sky Sports News. “And all for free?” Every team would jump at the chance to sign Rashford for free.
“We’re not hiding anything; we spoke before and (there was) interest, but the timing wasn’t right for all parties.” Maybe, summer, why not?
“Today if he’s a free agent of course we can talk to him directly, but we are not going to talk to him now.
“Let him focus on the World Cup. Then after in January, hopefully, if we’re interested we will talk to him.”
Al-Khelaifi also admitted his interest in Rashford’s England teammate Jude Bellingham, who has been linked with a number of Premier League and top European clubs.
