Both Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne have been named PFA Vertu Motors Fans’ Player of the Month for October.
The City pair are up against Newcastle United’s Bruno Guimaraes and Miguel Almiron, as well as Brighton’s Leandro Trossard and Arsenal’s Granit Xhaka, on the shortlist, which was announced today.
Haaland is on the shortlist for the third time in a row, having won in both August and September.
He was in red-hot form again in October, scoring six goals in four games, including a hat-trick in the Manchester Derby.
Haaland is joined on the shortlist by team-mate Kevin De Bruyne, who recorded three assists – two of them for Haaland – as well as goals against Brighton & Hove Albion and Leicester City
