This weekend, Tottenham Hotspur hopes to complete its final three summer transfers as Antonio Conte gets ready to begin preseason training. The Italian is about to begin his first full season, and Spurs gave him a lot of support in the first week of the transfer window.
Conte has already added three players in recent weeks, first accepting free agents Fraser Forster from Southampton and Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan as left wingbacks. Then, Tottenham completed a £25 million agreement to acquire midfielder Yves Bissouma from Brighton & Hove Albion.
However, they still have work to do in the window as Daniel Levy and Fabio Paratici quickly line up Conte’s fourth, fifth, and sixth arrivals. Richarlison, an Everton attacker who recently finished his medical in Brazil and will soon officially join Tottenham, will be the star of the new additions.
Middlesbrough right-back Djed Spence may be the next player through the door, according to 90min, after Tottenham made progress in their negotiations to sign him. The 21-year-old, who drew the attention of many with impressive performances while on loan at Nottingham Forest last season, is close to signing a £15 million initial deal with Spurs.
