Liverpool and Manchester United are vying for the services of MLS prospect Jhon Duran.
Liverpool is vying for the services of MLS wonder kid Jhon Duran, and Manchester United has entered the fray.
Over the years, the Red Devils have had their fair share of wonderful kids. Even now, the academy has a few kids with extraordinary potential like Alejandro Garnacho and Zidane Iqbal.
These players occasionally possess a wealth of talent, but not always to the point where they can make the first team. Nonetheless, the club should aim to make a healthy profit in order to develop a title-winning team.
United is now being linked with a move for 18-year-old Colombian winger, Jhon Duran, currently showcasing his ability in a breakthrough season for Chicago Fire in the MLS. The winger has picked up five goals and eight assists this season which is a solid return for a young player.
It’s important to note that The Sun mentions interest from clubs other than United and Liverpool. According to rumors, Chelsea has also expressed interest, and Todd Boehly is eager to make a move across the Atlantic.
Additionally, they say that Duran’s agent and family recently visited England, and Chicago appears eager to make good on their forward-looking prediction soon.
In September, Duran made his senior debut for Colombia, replacing Radamel Falcao in a 4-1 victory over Guatemala. He also participated in a 3-2 victory over Mexico.
If Duran’s future is still being linked to a move to United in the upcoming months, we’ll monitor it.
