After scoring 120 goals for the club, Sadio Mane leaves Liverpool as a Premier League, Champions League, and Club World Cup champion. Former teammate Mohamed Salah will miss him dearly.
After Sadio Mane completed a £35 million move to Bayern Munich, Mohamed Salah paid his former teammate a fitting homage on Instagram.
After declining a new contract at Liverpool, the 30-year-old Senegalese wonder made his debut in Bavaria on Wednesday, June 22. With the Bundesliga winners, Mane has agreed to a three-year contract that would pay him an astounding £360k per week.
Mane and Salah have one of the most feared attacking lines in Premier League history, thanks to their six outstanding seasons together at Anfield. Salah, the Egyptian King, had a lovely message for his goal-scoring partner on Instagram following Mane’s move to Bayern Munich. The pair have worn out defenses since Salah’s arrival in 2017, scoring a combined total of 195 goals.
“What a ride it’s been! I’m grateful for all the fun moments and wish you luck on your upcoming adventure “Salah wrote in a touching social media statement. We shall all miss you, we say.
“Keep on as you are. You are the greatest, brother “Mane gave a lovely reply in return.
