11 Liverpool players will still be on vacation when the team players report to the AXA Training Center on Monday for the start of preseason.
On Monday, Liverpool will resume preseason practice, although some notable players will be absent.
Nineteen players will be present at the AXA training facility, with 11 members of the first team likely to participate in the first physicals and fitness evaluations. There will be some new players available, including Calvin Ramsey and Fabio Carvalho, who will experience life under Jurgen Klopp for the first time.
Other players who arrived on the first day of pre-season include Adrian, Ben Davies, Luis Diaz, Harvey Elliott, Roberto Firmino, Joe Gomez, captain Jordan Henderson, Caoimhin Kelleher, Ibrahima Konate, Joel Matip, James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Nat Phillips, Thiago, Neco Williams, Rhys Williams, and Sepp Van den Berg.
Following the conclusion of the Premier League, however, there was a full slate of international fixtures, with many Reds players representing their respective national teams. Because of the extended season, they were given extra time off during the summer and will not be returning to Merseyside until July 9.
Alisson, Virgil van Dijk, Andy Robertson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Kostas Tsimikas, Fabinho, Naby Keita, Curtis Jones, Mohamed Salah, Diogo Jota, and summer signing Darwin Nunez will all return to the squad for the trip to Thailand early next week.
With a match against Manchester United on July 12, the latter group is unlikely to play in the first friendly, but they may play against Crystal Palace on July 15. Following the match against Palace, Liverpool will travel to Germany to face RB Leipzig on July 21 and to Austria to face Red Bull Salzburg on July 27.
