Jurgen Klopp will have Darwin Nunez back as Liverpool travel to face Ajax in the Champions League on Wednesday.
The forward missed the weekend defeat to Nottingham Forest with a tight hamstring but, having trained on Monday and Tuesday, will be available for selection in Amsterdam.
“He trained normally yesterday and today. So yes, at this moment, he is available,” Klopp said at his pre-match press conference.
Thiago Alcantara suffered an ear infection on the morning of the Forest match and will miss out again, meaning Jordan Henderson is likely to start in midfield alongside Fabinho.
Trent Alexander-Arnold should return to the side after being benched at the weekend, while Joe Gomez is expected to keep his place with Joel Matip still out with a calf injury and Ibrahima Konate only just returning to first-team training, though the latter will be in the squad
Naby Keita is also back in training but this match will come too soon, though Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is available again after making his first appearance of the season against Forest.
One of those to come out of the defeat at the City Ground with any credit was Harvey Elliott and he is in line to start again, particularly if Klopp continues to opt for Mohamed Salah in a central position, while Fabio Carvalho could benefit once more from the long-term injuries to Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota.
Predicted Liverpool XI (4-4-2): Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson; Fabinho, Henderson, Elliott, Carvalho; Salah, Nunez
