The England captain has been the subject of much speculation over the last two weeks, as Bayern looks to replace Robert Lewandowski after a slow start to the season.
Bayern is understandably interested in Kane, and according to Romano, the Spurs star is a perfect striker.
However, Romano does state that there is one big problem for Bayern in this race and that’s the fact that Tottenham Hotspur currently has no intention to sell or think about selling Kane.
Romano shared what he knows about this situation.
“What’s the potential of Harry Kane going to a club like Bayern Munich?” The host asked.
“At the moment, internally Bayern Munich is dreaming of Harry Kane, they are dreaming of Harry Kane and from what I’m told they consider Harry Kane the perfect striker for Bayern, for their style, their approach and their strategy, and the image of Harry Kane could be perfect for Bayern. There is a big problem and it’s called Tottenham. They love Harry Kane and they’ve never had any conversation with Bayern or any other club after the Manchester City saga,” Romano said.
Indeed, while Spurs don’t want to sell Kane right now, it may be a different story come next summer when he’s entering the final year of his contract.
Let’s just say for argument’s sake that Kane doesn’t sign a new deal in the next few months, Spurs will surely then think about selling him next summer as it would potentially be their last chance to cash in before he’s able to potentially leave on a free.
As ever, Kane’s future is up for debate, and until Spurs prove they’re capable of winning the biggest trophies in the game, this speculation will continue
