Piata Tauwhare went to a tanning salon near her Swansea home for an 11-minute session, but when she didn’t return home after one hour, her family became concerned.
Last weekend, tragedy struck a devoted Liverpool supporter-only hours before the Champions League final.
On Saturday (May 28), Piata Tauwhare went for an 11-minute tanning session near her home in Swansea, but she died shortly after the session was due to end.
Her death is thought to have been caused by a heart attack.
Her mother-in-law went looking for her an hour after the session since she hadn’t heard from her, according to the Liverpool Echo and found her dead on the floor.
Ifan Jones, her 23-year-old spouse, said “She was the most selfless individual you could ever meet. Nobody could ever say anything negative about her, and she would go out of her way for anyone, whether it was friends, family, or strangers. It’s difficult.
“She helped me with everything – I have anxiety and other issues, and she would go out of her way to help me with everything.”
“Every one of my friends and family members hit it off with her right away.
Everyone adored her, and if I was ever seen without her, people would inquire about her well-being. Lextan, she experienced a cardiac arrest-like episode in the tanning salon.
“We discovered her dead in a room because the personnel hadn’t checked on her.”
“She must’ve taken a weird turn and died.”
“From what I’ve heard, the maximum amount of time you can spend there is 20 minutes, but she was only scheduled for 11 minutes.”
“We can tragically report that a customer died while at our Fforestfach salon on Saturday, May 28,” a Lextan representative informed the ECHO.
We send our condolences to the deceased’s family and friends, and we’ve offered to counsel any employees who have been affected.
“We are assisting South Wales Police with their investigation into this situation, and any further inquiries should be directed to them at this time.”
