For the year 2022, we were ranked on the Sunday Times Giving List.
According to the Sunday Times Giving List 2022, Liverpool FC player Mohamed Salah is one of the most philanthropic people in the United Kingdom.
The LFC forward, who is currently placed eighth on the list, recently contributed almost 6% of his fortune to a number of charities. Salah’s net worth in 2022 was predicted to be approximately £41 million, thanks to his LFC salary and several endorsement deals.
However, the Egyptian gave £2.5 million to a number of health charities, according to the giving list.
Salah gave £2.4 million to the National Cancer Institute in Cairo in 2019 after it was severely damaged by a vehicle bomb, according to the Sunday Times. The actor’s generosity is just one of the countless initiatives in his native country.
The only athletes in the top ten are Salah and British Formula One driver, Sir Lewis Hamilton. Sir Lewis recently contributed roughly £20 million to charity.
Steve Morgan, a Liverpool businessman, was also among the top 20 givers. In 2022, the Redrow founder’s net worth was estimated to be £789 million. Mr Morgan recently donated approximately £36 million, or about 4.5 percent of his fortune, to Covid-19, children, and services throughout the North West.
