According to Sky Sports, with Darwin Nunez on the verge of joining Liverpool, the Merseyside club may look to offload some of their peripheral players. Divock Origi has already been released, and two more may follow in the next weeks.
Fulham is interested in recruiting Liverpool‘s Nico Williams and Takumi Minamino, according to 90min, as they try to improve their squad following their promotion to the Premier League.
Williams impressed during his loan spell at Fulham last season, and the London club is now looking to buy him on a permanent basis. Williams has little chance of cracking into Liverpool’s first team since Trent Alexander-Arnold is virtually untouchable.
Minamino has battled for playing time at Liverpool, therefore a move away from the club may be the best option for him. The Japanese international spent some time on loan at Southampton in the hopes of proving himself, but upon his return to Liverpool, he was unable to solidify his spot in the team.
