Following the announcement that a date against Red Bull Salzburg had been added shortly after the announcement that Jürgen Klopp‘s team was preparing for a warm-up match against Red Bull Leipzig, Liverpool’s preseason schedule is beginning to approach completion. On Thursday, July 21st, at Red Bull Arena in Germany, the opening game will take place versus Leipzig. On Wednesday, July 27, they play Salzburg, who will likewise host the match at a venue called the Red Bull Arena, but this time it will be 400 kilometers away in Austria.
